One Heartland alumni are past and present camp staff and volunteers who play an important role in many areas of the organization.  They are fundraisers, educators, volunteers and often return as camp counselors for many summers.  We appreciate our alums' commitment to our organization and the future of our campers!

Leadership Team for Camp Heartland 2011 has been chosen!

Once again, One Heartland is excited to have an amazing leadership team at Camp!  

	Stefanie Tywater-Christiansen, Registration and Travel Manager I work in the Minneapolis office year-round, and sometimes in the kitchen at camp, when I’m lucky. I enjoy getting to work with families all year to help give their kids an amazing week at camp. I am a wife, a mom to our Border Collie/German Shepherd mix and a new mom to Cooper, the most amazing and fast-growing little man. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, movies, music, music from movies, books, books made into amazing movies, and music from movies made from amazing books and I can’t wait to introduce Cooper to all of the above.
	Marlena Carreras, Unit Coordinator I am always happy and love to laugh. I am always willing to meet new people. I've been coming to camp since I was 7 and it means the world to me. I cant wait to meet everyone that I will be spending the summer with. See you soon! PIYAH!
	Liam McDougall, Unit Coordinator Howdy y’all, from merry old England! This is going to be my fourth summer at probably the best place ever – Camp Heartland – and I really, truly, honestly cannot wait for the fun and laughter to begin this summer. It’s going to be fantastic! I’m going to go ahead and say I bring wit and charm to camp. If you hear differently don’t believe it. So until the summer let me say thank you for dedicating your time and energy to camp and I look forward to meeting you.
	Issy Montealegre, Adventure Program Coordinator GOOD MORNING ONE HEARTLAND!! (or afternoon/evening whenever you’re reading this...) I'm super excited to be the Adventure Program Coordinator for the summer of 2011!! I've been fortunate enough to be a part of this organization for a long time, being both a camper and staff member. The summer is something I look forward to every minute of the year. It truly brings meaning to my life, so I'm ready for it to start. I cannot wait to meet all of the new staff, and spend time with the returners... get excited, it’s almost June!!
	Sade Parris, Leaders In Training Coordinator Hello everyone *waves*. I hope you are just as excited for Summer 2011 as I am. As more days pass, I get even more excited when June will FINALLY come around and I can leave home for the summer to escape into the wonderful atmosphere of camp. I first came to One Heartland as a camper when it was in its humble beginnings and am in awe that I get to now be in the same position as the counselors I had looked up to. The upcoming summer is filled with endless possibilities of dance parties, reunions with my extended family, new friends, tons of Kodak moments, BOFFO, All Camp Day (probably my favorite) and the return of campers both new and old to the place I call home. Are you excited yet?
	Jill Rudolph, Camp Director, I absolutely love this time of the year! Camp is just around the corner and the excitement and planning has begun. During the other 8 months of my year you can usually find me traveling, enjoying the outdoors, cheering on my favorite sports teams and just living life to the fullest. I couldn’t intro myself without mentioning “Shea, my lovable dog”, who loves camp just as much as me. It’s my privilege to work with so many talented and compassionate people to make this truly a magical place for all involved. This summer I plan to spend many hours on the lake canoeing, countless hours dancing like a fool, and just having the time of my life.
