Today, August 12, is International Youth Day

The day was founded in 1999 by the United Nations and is meant to help all of us assess our investment in - and our commitment to - today's youth - and to incentivize all of us to be more involved in the well being of the next generation.

Yesteday One Heartland Center received their annual soy milk donation, an invaluable contribution that is both arranged and delivered by the fundraisging group, Bikers with Big Hearts. But the soy milk is just one small part of what this amazing group does for our campers.

One Heartland raises funds – and friends – through a variety of special events throughout the year.

For more than 20 years, pledges on behalf of AIDS Wisconsin have supported a variety of organizations dedicated to fighting AIDS, including One Heartland. More than $11.1 million have been raised to support HIV outreach, care, treatment and prevention.
