For over 20 years, Angel Flight Central’s all volunteer pilots – in their own private planes – have transported hundreds of our program participants to camp.
A nonprofit whose mission is to “(s)erve people in need by arranging charitable flights for health care or other humanitarian purposes,” Angel Flight was one of our 20 for 20 honorees in 2013, and in 2014 they continued to be one of our most invaluable partners.
All told, this past summer, 54 different pilots flew 177 missions, transporting over 50 kids to and from camp.
Without their help, camp simply would not be a reality for so many – too many – of our participants.”They truly help make camp happen for us every summer,” says One Heartland Travel and Registration Manager, Stefani Tywater-Christiansen.
